about

After his digital single „This Time“ and the outstanding hit „Siamese Twins“ as Eating Snow (his project with polish artist Mooryc) on „Where The Wind Blows“, producer Douglas Greed is ready to release his new record “Driven” in the beginning of may on BPitch Control. In the past year the simpatico from Jena increased his live appearances and has earned an impressive reputation as pro- ducer through numerous releases on Freude am Tanzen.

His „Fake EP“ is not only a tasty appetizer for the upcoming LP, but issues four pumping tracks that captures his exceptional talent with humor, knowledge of history and deepness in a nutshell. The title track does not even want to hide the jack and with its rough attitude its reminds us at the heyday of Dance Mania era. „Damage“ starts harder just to expose a bouncing and jumping bass line, so nodding will be way too little. While listening to Douglas Greed, dancing is not just an option, but definitely a must. While „Bastard“ is initially dominated by the vocal loop, we already are hanging on the hypnotic melody, which expertly tickles our endorphins. At the end, „Excel“ skillfully calculates the variables of precise percussion, donating bass and a playful melody figure in the right order – the intergalactic flair takes control in all directions. The carpet for his new album is more than rolled out.
